There is a common mistake most of us make about discussing our capabilities or work history that are filled with generic business-speak, over-used cliches, corporate jargon, and big three-dollar words.
Ultimately, they really don’t say anything. After reading three or four sentences, they are forgotten before anyone even finishes.
It boils down to values.
What are the things that really matter?
My core values and what makes me different are these three basic ideas.
PASSION
When I came to understand how I can grow and learn with my God-given talents, to develop a career path through continual training and education, that opened the door to something I love to do. Visuals that communicate. That has been my passion ever since.
CHARACTER
There are several archetypes that we might reflect within our business and personal lives. If I had to narrow it down to three, they would be Dreamer. Explorer. Traditionalist.
EMPATHY
This covers both personal and professional applications. Being able to understand where others might be on any given day and taking the time to really listen and find opportunities to support or encourage when needed. On a professional level, it would be to view every creative and operational protocol with an objective perspective to benefit the whole of the company.
Success is a choice. Creative in general is work, and it won’t be easy.
